When I think of Easter and fashion, I think of soft pastel colors, bright florals, and free-flowing clothing. Easter dresses capture the nostalgia of springtime, and usher in feel-good vibes of the summer to come. Here are some tips on picking out your perfect Easter outfit:

1. You can be sexy on Easter. Choose form-fitting dresses with floral patterns such as the White/Turquoise Floral Print Strapless Dress or Bisou Bisou® Scoopneck Allover Pleated Print Dress (both pictured below). As we age our skin starts to sag, loses its luster, and make us look eons older than we really are. Natural reserves of elastin, collagen and fat start to break down and disappear, and gravity pulls everything south.
It's pitiful really.

However, there are ways to slow the aging process down, many of which start when you're fresh out of puberty.

10 Steps To Firmer Skin.

1. Don't Smoke.

Not only don't smoke, but avoid second hand smoke too. Like the plague.
Smoking and second hand smoke destroy collagen and elastin and decrease levels of estrogen, all of which are crucial to maintaining firm skin.

2. Eat the Good Foods.

From when you're young you want to be eating the good stuff. We all know that food can make you skinny or fat, alert or tired, happy or sad. You can add older or younger to the list too.
To keep skin happy (and firm) eat fatty fish like salmon, lots of dark green vegetables (think brocolli, spinach, kale), almonds and walnuts, and drink lots of tea. You can never have too many freh fruits and vegetables
Research shows that low levels of vitamin C and zinc, amongst other skin-essential nutrients may inhibit the skin's ability to heal and repair itself.

3. Ignore Food Cravings
Experts believe that overindulging in sugars, corn syrups/dextrose/fruit juice concentrate etc can prematurely age skin. This can be seen as early as your 30's!
Sugar in the bloodstream forms harmful molecules called advanced glycation end products (AGEs), which weaken elastin and collagen.

4. Relax Your Neck

Don't strain your neck during a workout (or anything else!)
By straining your neck you are strengthening the very muscles that pull your face down.

5. Use A Good Moisturizer.

Not only invest in a good moisturizer, but use it liberally, every single day.
Moisturizer actually protects skin from free radical damage. Dehydration leads to oxidative stress, which in turn generates free radicals.
Dehydrated skin ages faster. Much, much faster.
Look for products with ceramides, cholesterol and essential fatty acids, and keep your skin super moisturized, every single day.

6. Fight Sun Damage.

The best way to fight sun damage is to completely stay out of the sun.
But that is not a realistic option for most of us. Plus the sun is so nice to be outside in.
Every single day, come rain or shine, liberally apply a facial SPF of no less than 30. (I use SPF 70)
Even if your moisturizer has an SPF in it, use another on top.
The sun is your skin's worst enemy. Harmful rays break down collagen and elastin, putting you on the fast track to aging, sagging, lifeless, dull skin.
Look for broad spectrum formulations with Helioplex or Mexoryl, which have been shown to be the longest lasting, most effective forms of sun protection.

7. Fight Free Radicals
Antioxidants are the super heros of skin care.They protect the skin from the evil forces in the environment, known as free redicals, plus they also block an enzyme called elastase, which breaks down your skin's elastin.
Choose products that contain several different antioxidants - they work well in teams. Look for products that contain Vitamins A and C as well as Coenzyme Q10.

8.Give Your Eyes A Lotta Lovin

Always wear sunglasses. The bigger the better. When you're outdoors, squinting in the sunlight is fast tracking crows feet and under eye wrinkling.

Make sure you use a good eye makeup remover that dissolves your makeup without you needing to rub it. The less pulling of the skin around the eyes the better.
Keep the eye area well hydrated morning with a good eyecream, and utilize an eyecream that contains retinoids (which increase elastin) at night.

9. Make Collagen. As Much As Possible.
Without collagen your skin will have the same texture as an old leather boot. Not so glam.
The way to make more collagen is using retinoids. They also stimulate cellular renewal.
Win / win.
You can buy over the counter retinoids, or get stronger prescription strength.
Use retinol products at night only, as they will create a sensitivity to sunlight

10. Get The Elastic Back!
Elasticity in the skin is what makes it spring back when you press it.. We stop making elastin around the same time we hit puberty, and until recently no one knew how to trick the skin into making more. Collagen is much easier to stimulate than elastin. Retinoids help, scientists also believe that dill extract may help.
Your best bet is to valiantly protect your stores of elastin by doing steps 1 thru 9 above. Especially paying attention to 1 and 6!

A palace source confirms to PEOPLE that on Thursday the invitations began leaving the office of the Lord Chamberlain – the man entrusted with seeing the cards get to the right people.

"They're in the process of being sent out," says the source.

As the deliveries started to go into effect, a charity bash in London was drawing a crowd from the wedding party's circle, including best-man-to-be Prince Harry's on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

Also making the scene at royal pal Guy Pelly's new club Public: William and Harry's cousins Beatrice and Eugenie, along with the bride-to-be's sister Pippa (just named maid of honor), newly engaged Holly Branson and some of William's closest friends like Tom van Straubenzee and his brother Charlie.

"They all looked happy and excited at the prospect of the evening and the coming months," a bystander tells PEOPLE.

As the Duchess of York, in her chauffeur-driven Bentley, dropped off daughter Eugenie, 20, she told onlookers that she was happy to leave the revelry to the younger set.

FacebookTwitterE-mailWith its gold lettering and gilded edge, this stiff white card has been arriving in the mailboxes of some of the best-connected people around the world.

It's the invitation heralding the wedding of William" and Kate Middleton, and it's gone  out to 1,900 people, from kings to charity leaders, to close family and university friends, old schoolmates and prime ministers around  the world.  

Fittingly for the celebration, it is decorated in gold writing and emblazed with a matching insignia of William's  grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, in whose name the invitation is sent.

The edges of the card – which is about 10 in. by 6 in. – are beveled and then gilded.  

 The simple wording reads that the Lord Chamberlain has  been "commanded by the Queen" to invite the holder to the marriage at Westminster Abbey at 11 a.m. on April 29. As for the dress code, guests are asked to wear military uniform, a tailcoat or a business suit.  

 The invitations went out on Wednesday and Thursday. Meanwhile, 600 of the 1,900 guests also have been invited by the Queen to a reception that she is hosting immediately after the ceremony in the Abbey.  

 Later, around 300 of those 600 guests are invited to a  dinner hosted by William's father, Prince Charles, in the evening at Buckingham Palace.  

Prince William's office is not releasing the invitations to those events, as they are private.  

 The couple is expected to stay in London that night, before starting  their honeymoon on April 30.

Spring Fashion 2011: What to Buy and Wear Now

True, the streets are snow-covered, the sidewalks are slushy and that parka of yours is taking some serious abuse.

But the March fashion magazines are flooding our mailboxes, and the spring styles are hitting stores. Yep, our wardrobes are in need of a warm-up.

Here's the good news: It's totally possible to buy spring trends now and, with a little creative styling, be able to wear them before the big thaw.

We turned to style and beauty expert Mary Alice Stephenson and eBay Creative Director Andrea Linett for tips on making spring clothing winter-friendly.

Just add black. "Wear all those colorful spring dresses you see in stores now by wearing them with black opaque stockings," Stephenson tells StyleList. "The look is graphic, cool and perfect for now. This spring, trade in the stockings for bare skin. All that neon against tan skin equals heaven!"

White out. "White is the biggest color trend on the runways for spring, and it's all about wearing it in an elegant, pared down, modern way," Stephenson says. "Calvin Klein best showed off the new way of wearing white with a less-is-more attitude and the focus on fit and sophistication. Thakoon showed his white with a groovy-girl edge, which, although still sharp, gave it more of the youth quake his customers love."

Linett agrees.

"I love white jeans with a peacoat for now," she tells StyleList.

Go big with wide-leg pants. "They come in a variety of waist heights, from super-high '70s to lower-slung and can be worn now -- providing the streets are slush free -- with a high-heel ankle boot and chunky turtleneck or a tailored button-down and wool blazer," Linett says.

A ruffle a day keeps the doctor away. "Many mass retailers like Talbots, Ann Taylor and J. Crew have loads of great ruffled shirts this spring," Stephenson says. "Whether it's a ruffle chambray tank or the ruffles on your tiered skirt, a little ruffle goes a long way and sweetens up everything you wear. I pair spring's ruffles right now under my most masculine suits and boyfriend cardies. It makes even the most casual clothes in my closet seem supersexy."

Warm up long, flowy spring dresses. "They look great even now with woolly tights, boots and an oversize cardigan," Linett says. "I recently bought an amazing men's cashmere one on eBay, and my husband and I fight over it!"

Brighten things with saturated colors. "They're everywhere and are a nice way to cheer yourself up when it's still nasty outside," Linett says. "I would wear a bright top peeking from under a neutral (camel or charcoal) sweater, or, if you're daring, a bright skirt or trousers with the same kind of neutral top."

Time for a peep show. "Some of spring's sexiest shoes are peep-toes with a wedge heel, so if showing your toes is a scare, then dare to wear your peep-toes with a shear or opaque stocking or even a fun-colored sock," Stephenson says.

Go ladylike with a fuller skirt. "They can be worn with opaque tights and pumps along with a shrunken cashmere cardigan or a tweedy little jacket," Linett says.

The new headband. "Replace your headband with a rolled-up scarf, '70s style," Stephenson says. "Even try it over your updos."

Accessories are always in season. "All of the statement necklaces can be worn right away," Linett says. "I also love a high-heel sandal with socks or tights. I would just steer clear of obvious summery stuff like straw hats and beachy jewelry like shells and coral. I do, however, love a straw bag in the winter, à la 'Annie Hall.'"

For Britney Spears' second year as the face of Candie's, the company is kicking things up a notch by enlisting three top fashion photographs, Terry Richardson, Annie Leibovitz and Mark Seliger, to shoot the pop star.

In what Candie's is dubbing "Britney Spears Through The Lens," the Spring 2010 campaign has each famed photographer taking their turn at shooting the pop princess in their own signature style.

Portraiture master Leibovitz put a black dress-clad Spears in front of an stark grey backdrop, while Seliger's goal was to "create an iconic photograph" by way of a sultry-yet-fun "Moulin Rogue" scene in an uber-girly dressing room and he also shot Spears reclining on a Harley-Davidson motorcyle.

Risqué shutterbug Richardson photographed Spears dancing to Prince while in a bikini against his trademark all-white background (naturally) and gave her some fun props, such as roller-skates and a bundle of red roses.

"I have this dream hit list of people I want to photograph and Britney's been on it forever," said Richardson in a behind-the-scenes video of his shoot. "It's really exciting because it's sort of a dream fully realized and I'm able to put the notch on the belt."

Spears, for her part, was also hyped to work with the photographers.

"Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world. I am honored to be working with them for my Candies Only at Kohl's ads," the star said in a statement. " It was an amazing shoot and I know my fans are going to love the cool images."

As for singer's favorite Candie's product, she said in the below behind-the-scenes video: "I actually like the dresses. They are very fitting and very flattering."

Expect to see the ads in the April issue of Seventeen.

Brocato created messy yet modern side ponytails for the NIMA Fall 2010 NYFW show, and gave us step by step instructions for making the model-perfect hair seen on the runway a reality.
First Brocato and his crew used large barrel curling irons to curl hair in sections.
Next, they created a chic hair knot (pictured) and set it with Brocato’s Moveable Hold Hair Spray ($12.95 at upscale salons)
“The hair knot was achieved by pulling the hair from the back of the right ear diagonally across to the left nape where it was put in a small elastic for control,” explained Brocato.
“From a deep right side part, the entire front left section of the hair was draped over the left ear and into the back nape area where it was wrapped around the first pony tail beginning to create the folded look to the shape."Finally, the hair that was left out in front of the right ear was brushed back creating a very close flat effect. This remaining hair was put into the pony tail and bobby pinned in place for the final effect,” said Brocato.
